Isaiah 6:8-13
Isa 6:8 And I heard the voice of יהוה, saying, “Whom do I send, and who would go for Us?” And I said, “Here am I! Send me.” And He said, “Go, and you shall say to this people, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’ “Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.” Then I said, “יהוה, until when?” And He answered, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, and the houses are without a man, and the land is laid waste, a ruin, and יהוה has removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land. “But still, there is a tenth part in it, and it shall again be for a burning, like a terebinth tree and like an oak, whose stump remains when it is cut down. The set-apart seed is its stump!”
There are people, who due to not having a love for the truth, YHVH has blinded and made deaf to the truth, to live in their own pleasures. But there are a Set Apart (qôdesh) people that will stand and remain despite the cities and land being laid waste.
Isaiah 8:6-22
We as believers, the remnant, should be careful who we are joining together with or joining unlawful alliances with, and who we listen to.
If we read verse 12 – Conspiracy (secret plans) in hebrew is:
H7195 qesher (keh’-sher) From H7194; an (unlawful) alliance: – confederacy, conspiracy, treason.
H7194 qâshar (kaw-shar’) A primitive root; to tie, physically (gird, confine, compact) or mentally (in love, league): – bind (up), (make a) conspire (-acy, -ator), join together, knit, stronger, work [treason].
People, believers and unbelievers alike, have not come to the point of humbling themselves yet. People still going to get hard-pressed and hungry, which eventually will lead them to curse their rulers, gods and YHVH.
We are now in a place to spend time with YHVH, to humble ourselves and to tune into Him and get to know His voice.
We need to wrap up the Torah within ourselves so that it becomes a part of us.
It is now time to get Spiritually strong so that we will be able to stand even after all the destruction. We need to know Torah and scripture so well that we can see when there is no light of truth in teachers, prophets and people around us.
Isaiah 8: 20 “To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak/light”
Remember Yeshua can be the rock that is our firm foundation OR Yeshua can be the rock/stone to make us stumble, fall and break.
The one He is to you depends on you and your heart.
Mishpacha, Matthew 10:22 & 24:13 says “The one who endures to the end will be saved”, now is the time to stand and be like Shadrak, Meyshak and Abed-Nego (Daniel 3) and not bend the knee but trust in YHVH the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the creator of Heaven and Earth.
