Is the law of liberty a ticket to live as I want or is it to live according to the Law of God? Today we hear the words “liberty” or “freedom” used like never before, “freedom of choice”, “freedom to choose what to do with my body”, “freedom to live as I want”, “freedom to choose how I identify”, “freedom to choose who I want to marry” etc.
But what is the biblical meaning of liberty?
When the word says in James 1:25 “But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty….” Is that saying we have the freedom to live as we please? True biblical liberty is living as we should not as we please.
