How do you Esteem YHVH

As individuals who have committed to embracing Yeshua as our Lord and Saviour and undergoing the symbolic act of dying to self and being born again in Messiah through baptism, we frequently contemplate the factors that distinguish us from others and question whether we should continue living amidst the daily hustle and bustle like everyone else.

Yeshua exemplified living in righteousness by walking in Spirit and Truth and effectively applied the Torah, not man-made traditions and laws, in His daily life.

Yeshua illustrated how to regularly commune with the Father for guidance and direction, and emphasised the importance of esteeming the Father.

Esteeming God the Father entails glorifying Him, bestowing honour upon Him, and magnifying Him through our daily lives. In John 17:4, Yeshua prayed to YHVH, declaring, “I have esteemed You on the earth, having accomplished the work You have given Me to do.”

Many individuals find their faith journey laborious, especially when comparing themselves to other believers who appear to exude joy, hope, and passion in their daily walk and effortlessly expand the Kingdom of Yah.

So what is the difference between you and them?

The difference is that they are walking in their kingdom identity. They know what God calls them and what work they are meant to be doing for the kingdom of God, and by that, they bring Him honour and glory. Their lives are a sweet aroma before YHVH.

Walking in your true identity, and not in the false identity and lies of this world, will liberate you.

Understanding your identity in the kingdom will greatly impact how you approach your work. Instead of solely identifying with your job, career or title, you should see it as a means to walk out your kingdom identity.

Remember YHVH is not interested in your vocation or titles, He is only interested in you living in your true identity in the community, expanding His kingdom.

This shift in perspective can lead to a greater sense of fulfilment and happiness and will bring glory to Yah as you will be seeking His direction and guidance every minute of the day to be able to live purposefully in your identity.

People who understand this concept excel in their jobs because they are not just a nurse but a healer of the hopeless or broken-hearted. They are not just a policeman but someone who serves and protects, or a guardian of the weak. They are not just a secretary but a giver of hope; or whatever identity Father gives you.

Go before YHVH today and ask Him, ‘Father, what do you say about me?’ Write it all down. It will be a few things. Then ask Father, ‘Yah, who do you say I am? What do you call me?’ This is your kingdom identity. Then you can ask Father daily for direction on how to live out your true identity in that day.

May you discover your true identity and break free from fear, anxiety, and the lies of the enemy, so you can walk with purpose and confidence and grow into maturity and esteem YHVH by accomplishing the work He gave you to do.

Shalom and blessings

We are Nico and Cathy, Father gave us the names Baruch and Hannah as He said that our unity is Graciously Blessed. We were brought together to advance the Kingdom of YHVH, to speak as Father gives us to speak as Ezekiel 3 and Jeremiah 1, to be Watchmen and call all onto repentance, before the return of Yeshua the Messiah.
