YHVH Shalom

The word “Shalom” holds profound significance and carries a wealth of meaning that resonates deeply with our spiritual journey and our relationship with the Father. It represents a state of being that we continuously strive for, as we undergo the process of healing and purifying ourselves in our pursuit of righteousness.

“Shalom” encompasses a variety of concepts, all intertwined to convey a holistic understanding of peace. It embodies the ideas of harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare, tranquility, and contentment. When we experience true shalom, we find that nothing is missing, and nothing is broken.

In the Bible, we find peace as one of the fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 states, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” This passage underscores the transformative power of the Spirit in our lives, cultivating qualities such as peace that contribute to our overall well-being and spiritual growth.

As we delve deeper into our understanding of shalom, we discover that it extends beyond the mere absence of conflict or temporary tranquility. Shalom encompasses a state of inner tranquility, rooted in the knowledge that we are in right relationship with YHVH and others. It involves cultivating harmony within ourselves, with our Creator, and with our fellow human beings.

Furthermore, shalom encompasses a sense of wholeness and completeness. It points to the restoration of all that is broken and the fulfillment of YHVH’s purposes in our lives.

In a world marred by division, strife, and suffering, the concept of shalom is difficult to grasp in our everyday life, without a relationship with YHVH and His Spirit leading and guiding us. Even if everything looks like chaos around us, we find our Shalom in YHVH, because we know that ultimately, He is in control!

May the pursuit of shalom be a constant reminder of our ongoing journey toward spiritual maturity and the abundant life that YHVH desires for us.

Jdg 6:24 (TS2009) And Giḏʽon built an altar there to יהוה, and called it: יהוה Shalom. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Aḇiʽezerites.

We are Nico and Cathy, Father gave us the names Baruch and Hannah as He said that our unity is Graciously Blessed. We were brought together to advance the Kingdom of YHVH, to speak as Father gives us to speak as Ezekiel 3 and Jeremiah 1, to be Watchmen and call all onto repentance, before the return of Yeshua the Messiah.
